Tell us about yourself?

I was born and raised in Sao Paulo, Brazil with my Italian family and have been living in the UK for the past three years. Before moving here, I lived in Ireland for almost a year. 

I’m passionate about AV and new technology. I’ve always been interested in technology, even when I was young I used to open electronic devices to understand how they work. Before joining Runtech last year, I worked for the biggest broadcasting company in Brazil for over four years. 

What do you do in your spare time?

I love playing and watching sports, especially football and skateboarding. I’m often running through the city with my running group and lately, I’ve started practising yoga. Other than sports, I love reading and for the past two years, I have been trying to improve my cooking skills. I am always cooking something new!

Tell us about your role

Last month I was promoted to Technical Projects Coordinator at Runtech so my role has changed quite a bit from when I first joined.

Within my new role, I plan and oversee projects from concept through to completion making sure every project is planned correctly to ensure we keep a strong relationship with the clients. I also draw up delivery schedules and complete project administration. My new role allows me to be more involved with the entire project process whilst also using my technical skills.

What’s been your favourite project?

I have been at Runtech for a little over a year now, and in that time I’ve worked on so many amazing projects. Most recently, we have just completed a project with an Architecture firm and an office fit-out for a Global Insurance provider. These were the first two projects in my new role as Technical Project Coordinator, so definitely my favourites so far. 

Although I faced some challenges along the way, it was a very rewarding feeling once they were completed and knowing the clients are happy. We have a lot of exciting projects in the pipeline so I’m looking forward to working on them and developing my skills.
