Working alongside Peldon Rose, an award-winning office design and refurbishment consultant, Runtech proposed an AV solution for the new build site in London. The client required a high-quality, multi-platform video conferencing solution with the ability to present and connect via a laptop. As the client was relocating, Runtech were able to reuse any suitable hardware from the existing offices. The project included a large boardroom, two medium meeting rooms, one small meeting room, a private office and five dedicated private conference booths.

For a coherent feel around the office, Runtech opted to install LG screens and Logitech hardware. This ensured the customer was supplied with a solution that was easy to use with a simple interface whilst meeting their business needs. Additionally, the client can register their installed Logitech hardware on the Logitech Sync Portal. The dashboard pinpoints issues in real-time and flags potential problems before they become problematic.

Final solution

Due to the size of the boardroom, Runtech installed a 75” display to meet the recommended optimal viewing distance. A 55” display was installed within each of the other three meeting rooms and private office. To facilitate video conferencing, Runtech installed a Logitech Rally Plus system and Logitech Rally Bar Mini in the private office and medium-sized meeting rooms. In the small meeting room, Runtech installed a Logitech MeetUp conference camera.

To provide a tidy wired option for guest VC and presentations, a Logitech Swytch was installed in the boardroom and medium-sized meeting rooms. To fit within the client’s budget, the remaining rooms didn’t include a Logitech Swytch. Runtech installed Logitech Room Schedulers to make it easy for employees to reserve rooms and visibly see availability. Lastly, Runtech installed 27” monitors with Logitech Brio within the five private conference booths. Input plates were installed underneath the monitors to allow employees to connect their laptops to the display and camera.
