Saranac Partners is a private client advisory partnership, offering bespoke wealth management services for high net worth clients. Launches in 2016, the firm offers a range of services across Strategy, Investments, Financing and Corporate Advisory.
THE CLIENT'S BRIEF
Saranac have six meeting rooms and only one of the rooms had video conferencing capabilities. During and after lockdown, the majority of their employees are still working from home. As a result, the need to upgrade the rest of their meeting rooms to include video conferencing became more of a business priority.
Initially, they looked at using Lifesize and Bluejeans, but in the end decided to use the Zoom platform. The challenge we faced was to upgrade the rooms without any additional decorating works. The existing screens are flush however, we had to implement the solution to try and maintain the aesthetically pleasing style of the rooms.
Our final brief was to supply a Zoom Room solution that offered quality video and audio which was easy to use. This will allow employees working in the office to collaborate with those working remotely as well as their own customers.
The final solution
Once we understood Saranac’s needs, we looked at various solutions which would optimise their space and fit within their budget.
We decided the best solution would be the Logitech Tap Zoom Medium Bundle. This includes a 4K Camera, high definition audio, pre-configured Intel NUC and the on table Logitech Tap control interface.
The solutions integrates well in the existing space and the quality of video and audio is exceptional. What makes the Logitech/Zoom bundle so impressive is how easy it is to install and can be set up within minutes. Zoom have been excellent in their approach to the market and have chosen their hardware partners well. We also installed a portable Avocor interactive screen with a Logitech MeetUp. This unit is positioned to view the general office area and allow remote team to “Zoom” in and chat with their colleagues.
