BCL Solicitors LLP is a leading law firm specialising in domestic and international corporate crime, financial crime, regulatory enforcement, and serious and general crime.
Founded in 1991, BCL Solicitors now consists of 12 partners with over 350 years of collective legal experience. Additionally, BCL Solicitors is one of the largest and most experienced corporate and financial crime defence teams in the UK.
THE CLIENT'S BRIEF
BCL Solicitors requested an entire upgrade of their client meeting rooms and ground floor offices, along with the removal of existing equipment. Within their office, BCL Solicitors have three client meeting rooms in total, with one room extending back into another via removal of a partition wall, along with an additional three private rooms on the ground floor.
The client’s requirements were for a wireless and wired connection option with the ability to engage in Zoom and MS Teams video conferencing, with the preference being the Barco Clickshare BYOD solution. To ensure disruption was kept to a minimum, the client requested the installation take place out of office hours.
The final solution
In the client meeting rooms, Runtech installed a 65” LG display in the boardroom and a 55” display in the smaller room with the partition wall. To facilitate video conferencing, two rooms included a Logitech Rally Camera and a Logitech Connect ConferenceCam in the smaller room so the room can still be used when the partition panels are in place. Both products feature an ultra-HD imaging system with expansive 90° diagonal field of view. Additionally, a Barco Clickshare CX-50 was installed for a one-click wireless connection, fully supporting BYOD. A Sennheiser SL TeamConnect Ceiling 2 microphone was flush-mounted in the meeting room ceilings. With TruVoicelift, the microphone highlights voice whilst reducing background noise, ensuring everyone can be heard loudly and clearly.
In the three ground floor offices, a Logitech Meetup Video Bar was installed along with a Barco Clickshare CX-20 which are both designed for small meeting rooms/huddle spaces. Both products were linked to the client’s existing screens.
After understanding BCL’s needs, Runtech proposed a professional solution which optimises their space whilst allowing increased collaboration.
