Nexus Underwriting is a leading, independent, specialty Managing General Agent (MGA) group with a focus on niche insurance classes of business.
Founded in 2008, Nexus is now a global business represented in nine countries, employing over 290 people and handling over £320 million in gross written premium. They opened their doors to a brand new headquarters based in London at the start of 2018.
THE CLIENT'S BRIEF
As you enter the building, you are greeted with a modern and sleek open-plan break out area. The impressive space features high ceilings and a suspended meeting room with a blue tint, creating a striking centrepiece to the office.
At the back of the room, there is a large area available for hosting events. As the client is based in a prime London location, they regularly use their office to host Annual General Meeting (AGM) and Town Hall events. The client wanted a large format video wall display to compliment this space, that offers a dynamic and effective AV solution that is reliable and easy to use.
The final solution
We proposed using 9 Allsee 55″ commercial video wall monitors and specialised Peerless video wall brackets. These displays have a super narrow bezel with ultra HD resolution.
Using the latest iPad as a user interface, we implemented Crestron for system control allowing the client to switch seamlessly between different sources. For example, Sky TV, video conferencing, wireless presenting, and a resident computer. All video and media audio is powered by Crestron, video conferencing by Poly, and speech reinforcement and audio control by QSC.
The client has been provided with a dynamic and impressive solution that is effective for a wide audience.
