Runtech team donates their day to support a local charity

Runtech’s technical team recently supported Holloway Neighbourhood Group, a local North London charity, by donating their day to install AV into their community centre. The team supported the charity by removing and replacing the existing projector screen.
Holloway Neighbourhood Group is a registered charity, which runs out of the Old Fire Station Community Centre. Their mission is to provide support, service, and build connections to empower local people to lead fulfilled lives. The charity runs a busy timetable of classes with the aim of reducing social isolation and improving wellbeing. Weekly activities include art, gentle exercise, yoga, and dance classes as well as gardening and a social club for older men. Additionally, the charity offers a low-cost counselling service as part of their ‘Stress Project Therapy Centre’ for people with stress-related illnesses and mental health problems.

Thank you so much for Runtech’s kind support of Holloway Neighbourhood Group. Now we have a projector screen in place, we will be able to offer high quality classes which can be accessed both by people in-person at the Old Fire Station Community Centre and also online by people who for varying reasons are unable to travel to our centre, perhaps due to disabilities or caring responsibilities.
